Governments continue to be ruled by fallible humans who lust for power. They take for themselves the “forbidden fruit” made available by fiat money. As long as governments continue to create fiat money, they will be playing God. As we have learned from Adam and Eve, playing God leads to death.

Governments become more corrupt the more that power is centralized. Centralized control of money is an immense political power that has been used for unprecedented evil. Throughout history, leaders have shown that they are not good at resisting the temptation of hidden and instantaneous mass theft. Neutralizing this tendency requires money that is not under the control of the government, or anyone else.
